Looking ahead:

  • December 18 – December 21 – STAR Progress Monitoring
  • December 18 – Winner for the door decorating contest will be announced.
  • December 19 – BOCES will be here to bake/decorate cookies with all students that receive any kind of BOCES support. An announcement will be made asking to send specific students to the lunch room around 1:45.
  • December 19-20 – Caroling in the Gym (Please walk your students to the gym first thing in the morning for 15-20 minutes of caroling.)
  • December 20 – Christmas Sock Exchange day J
  • December 20 – 6th Grade dress rehearsal for music program will be during specials
  • December 21 – Wear your Christmas socks today!! (Jessica rolled her pant legs up last year so that everyone could see her Christmas socks---I vote that all of the staff roll their pant legs up this year so we can show them off together. J)
  • December 21 – 2nd Cup of Coffee/6th Grade Music Program - Students parents, and staff will come to the lunch room during morning recess today. Everyone will enjoy some cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate and/or coffee.  Teachers please help to monitor student behavior during this time.  If you see any tables that need to be cleaned please try and help keep these clean for the next people that sit down.  When students and parents are finished eating please guide them into the gym to get ready for caroling.  When our first bell rings start asking students to go to their classrooms to put away backpacks and coats (you might want to talk to your students about this the day before this event so that students know what will be expected).  After students have put their coats and backpacks away please walk them back to the gym and have them sit in their “Town Meeting” places.  Once everyone is in the gym we will watch the 6th grade students perform and finish the morning with caroling.  Please let me know if you have any questions about this day.
